Recover Your Account (Forgot Password)

You can use FIDO to recover an account should you forget your password. Follow the below steps to recover an account when you have forgotten your password.

1. In FIDO use the "Email Validation" login option to begin the process. Enter your accounts email address and click the "Send validation" button.
2. Check your email for a message from FIDO@empireai.edu containing a link that you can use to sign into FIDO. Click the link, and then click the Login button on the page.
3. Click on Reset Password in the red box.
4. Complete the authenticator verification by entering the current 6-digit authenticator code as you normally would for SSH and then clicking the Authenticate button.
   
5. On the following page enter your desired password into both text boxes then click on Reset Password button.You have reached the end of this guide and you can immediately log into Empire AI using your new password.
